About Sydney

Sydney is a New York-based actor, writer, and movement-artist. Sydney received her BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She studied acting at The Meisner Studio and the Experimental Theatre Wing. She also studied Psychology during her time in school.

Sydney is passionate about many things, namely: outrageous work. Silly and physical comedy. Work that requires the entire individual. Work that is deeply honest and messy. Work that is serious and also fun, aka “Serious Fun.” And most importantly, finding joy through it all.

Recent work includes: Nun Play (Stone Circle Theater), Jonathan Journals (NPDF Workshop at Clubbed Thumb), Witches and Mammoth (both in collaboration with ALAB Theatre Festival), fire / fight (Samuel French Play Fest at Vineyard Theatre). She has also recently participated in a number of different play development workshops and readings.

Currently, Sydney is writing a screenplay and working to produce her own work. Stay tuned!
